Privacy Policy

In short: the free tools run entirely in your browser and send us nothing. If you write to us through a form, we receive what you type and use it only to reply. We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics. We do not sell data.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is SODEMA TRAINING PROGRAMS DESIGN (“Sodema”, “we”), an individual establishment registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain (commercial registration 178637-1), owned and operated by Ali Alwadi. Contact: ali.alwadi@sodema.dev, or the enquiry form on the home page.

2. What we collect and why

Free tools

Everything you type into a tool is stored only in your own browser (local storage) and is never sent to our servers. You can delete it at any time using the tool’s clear option or by clearing your browser data. The tool library also keeps simple usage counts, such as which tools you opened, in your browser only; they are not transmitted to us.

Forms (enquiry, project scoper, newsletter)

Data: name, email address, company (optional), your message, and the options you select, for example services and budget range.
Purpose: to reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, or, if you tick the newsletter box, send you occasional emails.
Legal basis: your consent (the box you tick on each form), and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. If we later enter into a contract, we also process the data to perform it.
Newsletter: we manage the list by hand. To unsubscribe, reply to any email or write to ali.alwadi@sodema.dev and we will remove you.

WhatsApp and email

If you click a WhatsApp link, the conversation takes place in WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. If you email us, we keep the message for as long as needed to deal with it. We only see what you send us.

3. Cookies, analytics and third-party content

We set no cookies, including advertising or tracking cookies.
Fonts and icons are hosted on this site; no request is made to Google Fonts or other font services.
We currently run no web analytics. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in future, we will update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Browser storage (local and session storage) is used only for functional purposes: saving tool inputs and remembering that you dismissed a banner.

4. Who processes your data

We do not sell or rent personal data. Our processors are Cloudflare (website hosting and delivery) and EmailJS (delivers the messages you submit through our forms to our mailbox). Our email and mobile providers also handle messages you send us directly. These providers may see technical data such as IP addresses. We may disclose data if required by law.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside Bahrain and outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses offered by those providers.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
Client records: for as long as needed to deliver the contract and meet legal and accounting obligations.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the EU/UK GDPR and Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018), you can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or provide it in a portable format, and you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. To exercise a right, write to ali.alwadi@sodema.dev; we aim to reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

All traffic uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). We limit access to the mailbox that receives forms. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, so please do not include sensitive personal data or confidential client information in a form; we will agree a secure channel and an NDA for that.

9. Children

This site is intended for professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date at the top when we do.
