Who this is for
This coaching service is built for three types of people in L&D:
- Instructional designers early in their career who have the theoretical foundation but want to accelerate their practical skills — storyboarding faster, using Storyline and Rise with confidence, and building a portfolio that gets interviews.
- Experienced designers moving into senior or lead roles who need to develop stakeholder management, project scoping, and strategic thinking skills that weren't required as an individual contributor.
- L&D managers building or leading a small team who want a thought partner for decisions around team capability, vendor management, tool selection, and demonstrating L&D value to leadership.
This is not a generic "career coaching" service. Every session is grounded in the realities of L&D practice — client conversations, Articulate tooling, SME relationships, and the politics of getting training approved and measured.
A typical 6-session programme
Session 1
Diagnostic & goal setting
Where are you now? Where do you want to be in 6 months? We define 2–3 concrete, measurable goals for the programme and identify the specific gaps holding you back.
Session 2
Design skills deep-dive
Hands-on review of your current work — storyboards, eLearning modules, or ILT materials. Specific, actionable feedback on instructional structure, visual design, and learner engagement.
Session 3
Tooling & workflow
Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia — whichever tools you're working with. We review your build workflows, identify inefficiencies, and share tested approaches to common challenges.
Session 4
Stakeholder & project skills
How to run discovery conversations, manage SMEs, scope projects so they don't blow out, and write design briefs that prevent rework. Skills they don't teach in ID programmes.
Session 5
Portfolio & positioning
For those building or updating a portfolio — how to curate it, what to include, how to describe impact (not just output), and how to position yourself for the next career step.
Session 6
Review & next steps
Progress check against the goals set in Session 1. What's changed, what's still in progress, and what's your plan for the next 6 months — with or without continued coaching.
Sessions are 60 minutes each, conducted via video call. Programmes run over 8–12 weeks at a pace that fits your schedule. Between-session work and resources are shared after each call.

Frequently asked questions
No. All coaching is delivered by video call. We work with L&D professionals across the GCC, Europe (including Germany and the UK), and globally. Sessions are scheduled to work across time zones.
Yes. We offer team coaching programmes where two or more team members go through a structured programme together — with some shared sessions and some individual. This is particularly effective for L&D teams that have been recently formed or where capability gaps have been identified. Contact us to discuss team pricing.
Single-session focused reviews are available — for example, a 90-minute Storyline workflow audit, or a portfolio review session ahead of a job application. Mention your specific need in the enquiry form and we'll propose the right scope.
YouTube teaches you what buttons to press. This coaching is about how to make better decisions — which interaction to build, whether this slide needs to exist at all, how to structure a scenario that actually changes behaviour, and how to tell a client why their requested approach won't work. The tool knowledge compounds much faster when it's applied to real projects with feedback on the decisions, not just the mechanics.
